Our navigation/guidance
testing tables are divided into two groups¾wide
and narrow dynamic bandwidth devices. This group of rate
table systems, our wide-bandwidth
tables, cover several velocity ranges from 0 to ±1,000°/s up to 0
to ±10,000°/s. These are high performance, direct drive tables
and full gimbal motion systems. All of these units feature
integrated rate and position control, with resolutions to 24.5 bits
(approximately 1/20 arc second, or 0.00002°).
The narrow
bandwidth tables are geared positioning tables, with a rate range of
0 to ±24°/s¾a few models are capable
of continuous operation to ±40°/s. These servo controlled tables
are highly insensitive to changes in payload inertia, and they are ideal
for factory, as well as depot operations.
